Mets defeat Rockies 6-4

NEW YORK (AP) — Neil Walker hit a go-ahead, three-run homer in the seventh off Boone Logan (1-1) following James Loney's 10-pitch walk, helping New York stop a four-game losing streak that matched its season high.

Walker also had an RBI triple, but New York sustained another costly injury when shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera strained the patellar tendon in his left knee — the same injury that sidelined him for a little more than two weeks during spring training this year.

Carlos Gonzalez hit a tying RBI double in the fifth and a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the seventh off winner Jerry Blevins (4-1). Jeurys Familia struck out two in a perfect ninth for his 37th save.
