Rockland County in southeastern New York...

At 12:22 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain is expected. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Newark, Jersey City, Yonkers, Paterson, Elizabeth, New Rochelle, Passaic, Bayonne, White Plains, Wayne, Mott Haven, Hoboken, Plainfield, Bloomfield and East Tremont.
