The NYPD is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred near Bryant Park early Saturday.
Police responded to the corner of West 40th Street and 6th Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive 27-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the torso.
According to police, the releasing of the victim's identity is on hold as the family is being notified. No arrests or charges have been made, as the investigation is ongoing.
