Hermine approaches tri-state area

NEW YORK – The U.S. National Hurricane Center has classified Hermine as a post-tropical cyclone, moving northeast toward the New York City area over the Labor Day weekend.

As of 11am Saturday, Hermine has maximum speeds of 65 miles per hour, moving North East at 15 miles per hour, and has a classification of a tropical storm. As of then, it was over Cape Lookout, North Carolina.
